Read the Wizard of Oz in Greek!

A Philhellene who goes online by the name of βεδυερός (Bedwere) has produced a translated version of a Wizard of Oz comic!

This is a fun way to read some Greek. He is clearly aiming at Attic Greek in this translation, but a little Attic exposure won’t hurt anybody (or, even if it does hurt, it is the kind of pain that is good for you, or at least good for developing your Greek!).

The entire project has been posted on his blog, one page at a time. It can also be purchased as a complete work. He has produced a lot of other resources, from books to maps to videos featuring collections of important vocabulary. The material is certainly worth checking out. He is currently producing a translation of a Tom Sawyer comic book.
